Position Summary
As a Drone Technician Intern, you will support the engineering team in the development, testing, and maintenance of drone systems. You will be involved in hardware assembly, software integration, flight testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal drone performance. This internship provides hands-on experience in drone technology within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly, calibration, and maintenance of drones and related equipment.
- Support flight testing, including pre-flight checks, monitoring, and data collection.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues related to hardware, sensors, and software.
- Collaborate and support existing engineers to develop improvements in drone systems and performance.
- Assist in data analysis from drone flights
- Document technical processes, test results, and maintenance logs.
- Research and propose new ideas for drone applications and improvements.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree or diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
- Final-year students or fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of drone systems (multirotor or fixed-wing), electronics, or UAV operations.
- Understanding of data analysis, GIS, or computer vision is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Passionate about drones, robotics, and emerging technologies.
- Willingness to participate in fieldwork and outdoor flight tests.
