We are hiring a Drafter with experience in F&B projects who can translate design concepts into clear, detailed technical drawings that adhere to standard design guidelines. Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Diploma or Bachelor&aposs degree in architecture, interior design, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in drafting for F&B design or store planning, focusing on technical drawings.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Enscape and Revit is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with design teams and other departments.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Willingness to travel for site visits or to meet with project teams as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for store layouts, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) designs, ensuring precision and adherence to design standards.
- Assist the design team in translating conceptual designs into comprehensive construction documents.
- Collaborate with the merchandising, branding, and project teams to ensure that technical details align with product displays, fixtures, and overall store aesthetics.
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs, considering construction timelines and budgets.
- Review and update drawings as required during the construction process, ensuring any changes are incorporated into the final documents.
- Conduct site surveys to collect data and measurements needed for accurate technical drawings.
- Ensure that all design documents are organized and available for project managers and construction teams.
