DOCKER ENGINEER - Project-Based

Koda Tech is looking for an experienced Docker Engineer / Technical Consultant to support Docker implementation and provide technical guidance for one of our enterprise clients in the insurance industry.

Position : Docker Engineer / Docker Technical Consultant

Type : Freelance / Project-Based

Location : Remote (potential onsite in Jakarta)

Project Timeline : November 2026

Responsibilities

- Set up and configure Docker Hub Organization, including user access, teams, and permissions.

- Configure Docker Desktop and provide basic troubleshooting.

- Provide guidance on Docker Hub Registry, image management, tagging, versioning, build, push, and pull processes.

- Support Docker Scout implementation for vulnerability scanning.

- Provide basic consultation on Docker integration with CI/CD and monitoring.

- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and developer guides.

- Conduct knowledge transfer and technical guidance for the client's IT team.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Docker.

- Strong knowledge of Docker Engine, Docker Desktop, Docker CLI, Docker Compose, and Dockerfile.

- Experience managing Docker Hub Organization, repositories, teams, and access permissions.

- Understanding of container networking, volumes, image lifecycle, and security.

- Familiarity with Docker Scout or similar vulnerability scanning tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

- Good technical documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience in enterprise or financial services environments.

- Experience with PHP/Laravel, Node.js, Java, or .NET containerization.

- Familiarity with RBAC and technical knowledge transfer.

- Experience establishing Docker governance standards, security policies, and best practices in an enterprise environment.
