Distribution Manager (Smart Meter & New Energy) (Indonesia)

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end distribution and delivery operations, from warehouse readiness to final customer delivery.
• Coordinate directly with PLN/customer PICs regarding delivery schedules, receiving arrangements, shipment status, and delivery requirements.
• Manage and coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, logistics partners, and customs-related parties to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Plan and monitor domestic and international shipments, including transportation schedules, shipment documentation, and delivery timelines.
• Monitor shipment progress from dispatch to final delivery and proactively resolve delays, damages, shortages, or documentation issues.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping, delivery, and Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
• Evaluate logistics and freight-forwarding partners based on service quality, lead time, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor distribution KPIs including On-Time Delivery, delivery accuracy, shipment lead time, and logistics cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Mandatory: Proven experience directly interfacing with PLN/customer PICs.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience managing freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Strong understanding of domestic and/or international freight forwarding processes.
• Experience handling shipping documentation, delivery coordination, shipment tracking, and Proof of Delivery (POD).
• Experience in electrical, energy, utility, infrastructure, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills with freight forwarders, transporters, and 3PL providers.
