Job Description
Operational Leadership
- Lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for 24/7 data center operations, including facilities, engineering, security, property management, customer onboarding, and service delivery.
- Ensure high operational standards across all sites, driving reliability, uptime and compliance with internal frameworks and industry best practices.
Performance & Governance
- Implement and monitor standardized operating models, ensuring alignment on KPIs related to uptime, financial performance, safety, SLAs, maintenance, and vendor management.
- Oversee contract reviews, operational risk mitigation, and continuous service improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with regional and global teams across operations, procurement, sustainability, engineering, design, security, asset management, and sales to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Work closely with joint-venture leadership to strengthen alignment, share insights, and advocate for operational priorities.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Support customer lifecycle activities including installations, service reviews, and escalation management.
- Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs to enhance value propositions and strengthen market positioning.
- Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and market intelligence gathering.
Strategic Contribution
- Drive standardization of operational practices and contribute to decisions involving resource planning and investment.
- Support business growth through involvement in sales support, investor tours, customer visits, and origination activities.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and innovations within the data center sector.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Significant leadership experience in data center operations or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems essential to data center environments.
