We're looking for a Sales Director - APAC responsible for winning new OTA & Travel Seller business for Atlas across the Asia-Pacific region. Your key focus is identifying and engaging prospective OTAs and other travel sellers and distributors sharing with them the benefits of working with Atlas and signing new commercial partnership agreements. A proven new sales track record, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Internal Relationships

Reporting to the COO in Singapore, you will collaborate effectively across teams and borders. You will work seamlessly with the Air Content and Customer Growth teams to deliver world class end-to-end experiences for our APAC Customers. Together with our Marketing team, you will ensure that we succeed in reaching potential clients, and build brand and product recognition across APAC. And critically, you will work closely with our Product and Technology teams to deliver Atlas solutions and value proposition to your customers.

External Relationships

In this role, you will establish and maintain powerful relationships with key decision makers across our current and prospective partners in the APAC region. You will be our business development lead across this highly dynamic segment, identifying targets that include Top Tier and Mid-Tier OTA's, Travel Sellers and Technology Partner, driving sales campaigns from inception to success. You will lead the nurturing, onboarding and growth of these clients, supporting them to thrive within the Atlas eco-system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own our APAC Sales Strategy: Lead the design and implementation of our sales strategy with a clear focus on new client business, growth and profitability throughout the customer life cycle

  • Convert APAC Prospects to Partners: Identify new business development opportunities and leads. Contribute by helping prospects through the initial stages of the sales pipeline and converting them to contracted, transacting clients or partners along the way.

  • Build and maintain valuable relationships: Introduce a clearly defined APAC relationship management strategy to build and maintain strong partnerships with current and prospective clients, and supported by our communications strategy

  • Embrace customer feedback to drive change: Effectively shape and influence our product roadmap and client solutions by understanding and anticipating our client needs

  • Transform data into powerful insights: Use data based insights to inform our sales strategies, product innovation, and to maximise our client profitability

  • Represent the Atlas brand : Represent us at external forums, including industry events and conferences, to promote the company's brand, establish thought leadership, and support business development objectives

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time across the Southeast Asia region to meet with current and prospective partners

Key Qualifications & Experiences

Required:

  • Strong knowledge & experience of the travel industry and understanding of the distribution landscape, travel sellers, and low-cost carriers
  • Strong travel technology & product experience with demonstrable record of sales achievement
  • Comfortable engaging with senior team members of prospect and client companies
  • Candidates must have existing right to work location. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position
  • Excellent English language skills

Desired:

  • Sales qualifications / training programmes
  • University Degree or equivalent third level qualification
  • Experience in sales within the travel industry, preferably in airline distribution
  • Other language skills
