Director of Driver Recruitment (Mass Recruitment)

We are seeking a Director of Driver Recruitment to lead the end‑to‑end driver manpower strategy nationwide. This role is responsible for both Driver Supply management and Driver Acquisition execution, ensuring we can attract, onboard, and sustain a large, high‑quality driver fleet in line with aggressive business growth targets.

This is a mission‑critical leadership rolewith full ownership of driver hiring strategy, operational execution, and performance across regions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Driver Supply Strategy & Ownership

• Own the national driver supply strategy, ensuring sufficient driver capacity to meet demand across cities and growth phases.
• Forecast driver supply needs based on market expansion, retention trends, and operational demand.
• Ensure a healthy balance between supply availability, activation rate, and cost efficiency.

2. Driver Acquisition & Mass Hiring Execution

• Lead high‑volume driver recruitment efforts across Indonesia through:
• On‑ground recruitment hubs and walk‑in centers
• Community outreach and local partnerships
• Referral programs
• Digital channels (Facebook, WhatsApp, local job platforms)
• Design and run large‑scale recruitment campaigns, aligned with city launches and growth milestones.
• Continuously optimize sourcing mix and funnel performance.

3. Recruitment Operations & Process Excellence

• Oversee operational processes including:
• Walk‑in interviews
• Job fairs and field activations
• Screening, document verification, and driving test coordination
• Standardize and improve recruitment SOPs to ensure speed, scalability, and compliance.
• Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from application to onboarding.

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop two core teams:
• Driver Supply team (planning, forecasting, supply health)
• Driver Acquisition team (recruiters, field teams, sourcing partners)
• Build strong regional recruitment teams and manage third‑party recruitment partners.
• Set clear goals, develop talent, and instill a results‑driven execution culture.

5. Data‑Driven Performance Management

• Define, track, and optimize recruitment KPIs, including:
• Funnel conversion rates
• Time‑to‑hire
• Cost‑per‑hire
• Activation and readiness rates
• Use data and insights to continuously improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Provide regular, structured reporting to Country and Regional Leadership.

6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Operations, Driver Management, Marketing, and City Teams to ensure:
• Timely onboarding
• Workforce readiness
• Alignment between supply planning and operational execution
• Support new city launches and peak‑demand planning initiatives.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in recruitment, workforce acquisition, or related functions.
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership role managing large recruitment or frontline workforce teams.
• Strong background in mass hiring / high‑volume recruitment, ideally within:
• Ride‑hailing
• Logistics
• Delivery
• Transportation
• Field‑force–heavy industries
• Proven ability tobuild and manage large, distributed teams under fast‑moving conditions.
• Deep understanding of on‑ground recruitment execution and digital sourcing channels in Indonesia.
• Strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands‑on, execution‑oriented mindset with the ability to scale processes rapidly.
• Fluent in English
