Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Direct Procurement (General Trading) role based in Kota Tangerang Selatan. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders for goods and materials. The position coordinates closely with internal stakeholders to understand demand, align purchasing plans with inventory and project requirements, and ensure timely delivery. The role also involves monitoring supplier performance, maintaining accurate procurement records, and resolving issues related to quality, quantity, or delivery. The individual will support cost optimization initiatives, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement processes.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and sourcing capabilities, including experience in supplier identification, quotation comparison, and purchase order management in a general trading environment.
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Proficiency in data analysis and documentation, including maintaining accurate purchasing records, tracking cost and delivery performance, and preparing reports as needed.
- Familiarity with inventory and supply chain coordination, working with internal teams to align purchasing with stock levels, project timelines, and operational needs.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present information clearly to stakeholders at different levels.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple purchase requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using office productivity tools and, ideally, ERP or procurement software to manage orders and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in procurement or general trading.
- Experience in direct procurement or trading (domestic and/or international) is preferred; knowledge of import/export processes and basic commercial terms (e.g., Incoterms) is an advantage.
