Job Role / Job Overview

Direct Buyer role reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities for this role

• Conduct materials sourcing activities on domestic and regional suppliers to support new projects and drive continuous cost reduction
• Direct support for cable & wires purchasing.
• Execute purchasing strategies to vendors
• To assist in achieving high inventory turnover
• To develop good supplier and maintain vendors relationship
• To develop multiple supply base specially local supplier
• To maintain and improve supplier relationship
• To provide general support to end user departments and customers
• Maintain and control purchasing records
• Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct

Education & Industry Experience required

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering required (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant materials purchasing experience in Electronic or Manufacturing Company
• Familiarity and experience with electrical/electronic components, wire harness, etc. would be a plus.
• Strong leadership capabilities.
• Ability to manage the works in tight schedules.
• Ability to work with all levels of organization.
• Proven experience managing job with details.
• Proficiency in English is a must.
