Role Description
This is a contract DevOps Engineer role at PT. IDStar Cipta Teknologi. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation, software development for automation, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux environment management. This role is on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
- Support infrastructure setup and monitoring under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Learn and contribute to automation scripts for improving system operations.
- Help manage and deploy applications using containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and system performance.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth release cycles.
- Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic networking concepts.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, or Python.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and best practices in DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to work in a collaborative environment.
