DevOps Engineer

Role Description The DevOps Engineer will work on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia under a contract arrangement. In this role, the engineer will design, implement, and maintain deployment pipelines, support continuous integration and delivery processes, and manage infrastructure using automation tools. Daily tasks include monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, improving reliability and scalability, and collaborating with development teams to streamline releases. The DevOps Engineer will also maintain Linux-based servers, enhance security and compliance practices, and document infrastructure and processes for cross-team use.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to build automation and integration tools.
• Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable solutions.
• Candidates should possess System Administration and Linux skills, with hands-on experience managing, securing, and optimizing Linux-based servers.
• Relevant qualifications include familiarity with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Relevant qualifications include strong troubleshooting abilities, experience with monitoring and logging tools, and a focus on automation and reliability.
• Relevant qualifications include effective communication skills, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and comfort working on-site in a dynamic environment.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
