Job Description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for Elastic Search Devops to support, administer, automate, and enhance an infrastructure platform built on Docker, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Python, and Linux.

The objective of the assignment is to contribute to a stable, scalable, and highly available platform with a strong level of automation and well-documented operational procedures.

About the Assignment

The team will work with the operation, maintenance, and development of the platform. Key responsibilities include:

• Administration and management of highly available Elasticsearch clusters.
• Automation of Elasticsearch index management and Index Lifecycle Management.
• Application deployment using Docker Compose.
• Development of Grafana dashboards using data from Elasticsearch.
• Python development for automation and data synchronization.
• Data synchronization between Google BigQuery and Elasticsearch.
• Installation, configuration, patching, and upgrading of the platform components.
• Technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
• Documentation of solutions and operational procedures.

The assignment will be carried out remotely in collaboration with internal teams, with a focus on platform reliability and minimizing disruption during changes and upgrades.

The team must collectively provide strong expertise in:

• Docker
• Elasticsearch
• Grafana
• Python
• Linux

Preferred Skills

Experience with the following is considered an advantage:

• Google Cloud Platform
• Google BigQuery

Expectations

The team is expected to follow established best practices, provide proactive support, and contribute recommendations for improvements. The assignment also includes troubleshooting, documentation, and regular reporting on progress and completed activities.
