What will you do

• Conducting research and analysis to create the concept of new products.
• Designing systems and components that meet the needs and requirements using engineering tools.
• Prototyping, evaluating and redesigning until the product is ready to be manufactured.
• Providing report and documentation.
• Reviewing and evaluating existing products to create recommendations of modifications and improvement for product development.
• Contributes as a team member and work together to accomplish the goal.
• Working and collaborating with other professionals within and outside the engineering sector.
• Planning milestones, project time frame, and goals.

What are we looking for

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics (fresh graduate are welcome to apply).

Experience:

• Has experience in mechanical design and manufacturing (machining and fabrication).
• Has experience in mechanism design, automation, or special purpose machines.
• DFMEA/PFMEA, design improvement, trials, and root cause analysis.

Technical Skills:

• Strong mechanical knowledge in kinematics, precision & moving assemblies, and small mechanisms/SPM.
• Have the ability of using CAD/CAM (SolidWorks or Onshape is a plus).
• Have the ability of operating CNC machine.
• Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
