Job Purpose
The Deputy Shopper Marketing Manager role drives sustainable growth across e-commerce channels by developing channel strategies, optimizing platform fundamentals, and identifying new opportunities to win in digital commerce. This role bridges commercial, marketing, and operations to maximize GMV, visibility, and conversion across key platforms.
Main Responsibility
Channel Strategy & Growth
Define and execute channel-specific strategies across online platforms (e.g., Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop)
Identify structural opportunities (e.g., search optimization, content scaling, rating improvement, demand whitespaces) to unlock growth
Monitor competitive landscape and recommend actions to stay ahead
Data & Performance Analytics
Track and analyze key KPIs (GMV, traffic, CVR, AOV, ROI, share of search, ratings & reviews)
Translate complex data (platform analytics, search, traffic, conversion) into strategic actions
Maintain dashboards or reports to monitor channel health and performance trends
Cross-functional Collaboration
Align with brand, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated e-commerce plans
Coordinate with regional/global teams to adapt best practices locally
Work with agencies or partners on content, media, and analytics
Governance, Planning & Continuous Improvement
Ensure activities comply with brand guidelines, and ways of working.
Support continuous improvement of shopper marketing processes and capability.
Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's degree (S1) in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field.
3-8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or FMCG commercial roles
Skills
Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics (Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada)
Strong execution and coordination skills with attention to detail
Basic analytical skills to track performance and extract insights
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Agile, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
