Role Description

This is a contract role for a Deputy Sales Manager (Exhibition), located on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Deputy Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales for various exhibition projects. Day-to-day tasks include managing client relationships, developing sales strategies, and overseeing the sales team. The role will also involve conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in the exhibition industry in Indonesia.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in English.
  • Knowledge of the data center industry in Indonesia will be a strong advantage.

Job Description:

  • Lead sales activities for exhibition projects, including sponsorships, exhibition space, and related revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve event revenue targets.
  • Manage and guide a team of sales executives to ensure performance and pipeline growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Commercial Lead to align on strategy, client approach, and reporting.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and conference teams to deliver successful events.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to senior management.
