Deputy Operational Manager (Japanese Speaker)

Role Description This full-time, on-site Deputy Operational Manager (Japanese Speaker) role is based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Deputy Operational Manager supports daily operational activities, including coordinating workflows, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring procedures are followed consistently across teams. This role assists in planning and executing operational strategies, preparing reports for senior management, and identifying areas for process improvement. The position requires frequent communication with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, including translating operational information, participating in meetings, and maintaining clear documentation in both Japanese and English. The Deputy Operational Manager also helps supervise staff, supports training activities, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong operational management capabilities, including process coordination, performance monitoring, and problem-solving.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in meetings, emails, and documentation.
• Experience in team support or supervision, including task delegation, workflow management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze operational data, prepare concise reports, and present findings to management.
• Comfort with digital tools and office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, collaboration platforms).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• JLPTN1 or N2 Certification Holder.
