Deputy Head of Human Resources

About the Role

As the Deputy Head of HR in Indonesia, you will help lead the HR function for our Indonesia organization. We are seeking a person who has a proven operational background and passion for applying AI to operational processes, particularly in the HR space. You will be a key owner of the Indonesia HR function, including talent acquisition, HR operations, and HR compliance. This role is for someone who wants to be a leader in affecting process improvements and ensuring our HR organization in Indonesia is best in class when it comes to the application of AI and cutting edge process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Indonesia HR team across recruiting, HR operations, and business partnering.
• Ensure that operational rigor is met with minimal errors.
• Utilize AI to automate and make processes more efficient.
• Own audit readiness, and ensure operational excellence and statutory compliance across Indonesia.
• Use HR data and analytics to inform decisions on organizational structure, compensation, retention, and hiring.
• Advise leadership on employee relations, organizational changes, and sensitive people matters.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, corporate strategy, general management, at a high-growth technology company.
• Experience using data and analysis to inform decisions on organizational structure, compensation, or workforce planning.
• Ability to strongly communicate fluently in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Interest in and able to apply AI to operational processes & programs, particularly in the field of HR operations.
• Demonstrated use of AI to improve operational processes is a must.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated industries.
• Experience supporting an organization through rapid headcount growth.
