Deputy General Manager Operations

Support the GMO/KTT in leading safe, compliant and effective site operations, with focus on Processing, Technical Services, Mining Readiness, Permitting and Operational Improvement. Act on behalf of the GMO/KTT when required and coordinate site functions to deliver operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the GMO/KTT in site leadership and day-to-day operational decision making.
• Coordinate Mining, Processing, Technical Services, Maintenance, HSE, Environment and Support functions.
• Drive achievement of production, recovery, cost, safety and environmental targets.
• Provide technical leadership in Mineral Processing, Heap Leach and CIL.
• Support copper recovery optimisation, heap-leach improvement and future processing opportunities.
• Lead and/or support Feasibility Studies, RKAB, AMDAL and mining-related permitting.
• Ensure technical studies are practical, executable and aligned with site requirements.
• Develop Managers and Superintendents, strengthen site leadership and act for the GMO/KTT when delegated.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of mining and/or mineral processing experience, including leadership roles.
• Strong Mineral Processing background with practical Heap Leach experience.
• Gold Heap Leach experience required as a relevant base; Copper Heap Leach exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of CIL processing and metallurgical performance.
• Experience in Technical Services, project studies, FS, RKAB, AMDAL and permitting.
• Understanding of Indonesian mining regulations and environmental requirements.
