As a Demand & Supply Planner Supervisor, you will own the end-to-end demand forecasting and supply alignment process to ensure product availability, service level excellence, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to translate business plans into accurate forecasts, actionable insights, and executable supply plans. This role requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process, from creation to final alignment.
- Lead weekly forecast reviews and ensure cross-functional alignment across key stakeholders.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and errors, driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Proactively integrate promotions, campaigns, seasonality, and market trends into forecasts.
- Facilitate data-driven discussions to align on forecast drivers, assumptions, and risks.
- Act as a bridge between Marketing, Commercial, and Supply Planning teams.
- Lead resolution of short-term supply gaps, demand spikes, and operational constraints.
- Manage and coach the Supply Planning team, ensuring clear priorities and accountability.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports covering forecast, inventory, and service levels.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including SOPs, planning tools, and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand drivers, and inventory principles.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Commercial, Operations).
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using Excel/Google Sheets, dashboards, and planning tools.
- Familiar with ERP, planning systems, or data visualization tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Demonstrated people leadership or team coordination experience, including coaching and performance tracking.
- Excellent communication skills with a data-driven, problem-solving mindset and high ownership.
