Job Summary
This role will be responsible for analyzing inventory, sales, and supply data to determine optimal purchasing and replenishment quantities. The role also develops and maintains dashboards to provide visibility on inventory and supply performance and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, and supply data to determine purchasing and replenishment requirements.
- Calculate recommended purchase quantities based on inventory levels, sales trends, stock coverage, and replenishment needs.
- Monitor inventory availability and identify potential stockout or overstock risks.
- Prepare and coordinate purchasing recommendations / PO quantities based on planning analysis.
- Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports to monitor inventory, purchasing, and replenishment performance.
- Extract, clean, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL or Python.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support purchasing and supply decisions.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure replenishment plans are aligned with business and operational needs.
- Continuously improve planning processes, reporting, and analytical tools to improve inventory efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, particularly candidates with relevant academic projects, internships, or certifications in data analytics, supply chain, SQL/Python, or dashboard development.
- Proficiency in SQL or Python is required.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Experience in building dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of inventory management, replenishment, purchasing, or supply chain processes.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
