Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.

We are presently seeking a Demand Specialist (Order Management Specialist) who is responsible for processing of intercompany customer orders, shipment coordination, and serving as a key contact point between intercompany customers, internal teams, and operations. This role ensures accurate and timely order fulfillment, supports customer inquiries, and contributes to meeting departmental targets and overall company objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Process all incoming intercompany customer orders accurately and provide order confirmation within the targeted lead time, and maintain proper documentation.
  • Maintain and update order information in the system (e.g., SAP) to ensure data accuracy and traceability.
  • Arrange shipments based on delivery schedules and due lists for all assigned product lines. Ensure timely execution of shipments and alignment with committed delivery dates.
  • Act as a communication bridge between intercompany customers, first-tier customer service team, and Operations. Provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders on order processing status, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
  • Liaise with the Planning team on delivery schedule changes, including pull-in, push-out, additional orders, or rejection of Original Committed Date.
  • Coordinate with Product Leaders and CSR team to obtain approvals for Customer Request Date and OCD changes and ensure system updates.
  • Handle inquiries from intercompany and internal customers regarding order-related issues. Support resolution of order discrepancies, delivery issues, and system updates.
  • Ensure effective follow-up and closure of intercompany RMA/CRF cases.
  • Assist in tracking order status, shipment progress, and operational performance against targets.
  • Update material creation and related master data in the system as required.
  • Participate in team activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comply with procedure related to quality, environment, health, and safety management system in respective area in charge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in order management, customer service, demand planning, or supply chain operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Experience working with intercompany transactions is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good coordination and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
  • Fluent in English Communication Skill.
