Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Human Resources
  • Induction of new staff
  • Responsibility for the professional review of non-teaching staff. Hiring and dismissing of staff in consultation with the Board of Management and Principal
  • Creating a conducive atmosphere in the work place by ensuring staff familiarity with their roles and any operating procedures
  • Formulating draft policy guidelines and regulations for personnel (leave, disputes, insurance, working hours, salary adjustments etc.)
  • Responsibility for ensuring that the marketing activities of the school are conducted in an effective, efficient manner that maximises the enrolment of the school and that excellent working relations are maintained with the staff, parents and students.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that the campus buildings, grounds and facilities of the school are maintained to the highest possible standards
  • Organising and conducting non-teaching staff training and professional development
  • Overall responsibility for occupational health and safety
  • Ensuring punctuality of non-teaching staff regarding work hours
  • Marketing and Communications
  • Overall responsibility for the marketing and communications activities of the school on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication within the school and with external parties
  • Review the current procedures and practices regularly to ensure effective marketing tools are utilized to promote school enrolment

Facilities and Building Management
  • Overall responsibility for the proper upkeep of the school facilities, building and grounds on a day-to-day basis.
  • Ensure school policies, rules and regulations are adhered to for the safety of all of who in the school
  • Regular review to ensure cost saving methods are applied appropriately in all areas of maintenance, minor construction and major overhaul.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferably from education major
  • Indonesian Citizen
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa
  • Appropriate tertiary and/or work qualifications
  • Previous experience is essential
