Deal Associate

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Deal Associate to join our Finance team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring customer contracts are reviewed, validated, and onboarded into our systems accurately. You will coordinate closely with Sales, Legal, and the Billing team to ensure all contracts meet compliance standards, align with finance processes, and support timely invoicing.

This position offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in contract review, deal operations, and finance processes, with potential growth into senior finance operations or revenue management roles.

Work Arrangement

• Full-time position
• Hybrid work model (2-3 days per week in the office)
• Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule)
• Eligible to reside and work in Bandung (Indonesian citizenship only)

Key Accountabilities

Contract Review & Validation

• Work with the finance, sales and legal teams on the customer contracts review for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Verify key terms such as plan type, pricing, payment schedules, etc
• Liaise with the Sales and Legal teams to clarify discrepancies or missing information.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs), Ensure that SOP documents are regularly updated and maintained to reflect any changes in processes.

Onboarding Support

• Verify and update customer details, ensuring accuracy for billing and compliance
• Ensure all required customer data is collected (e.g., sales tax permit if applicable) and the contract details are accurately set up in each system during the customer onboarding.
• Maintain Finance contact details in customer profiles for payment reminders.
• Monitor onboarding progress and escalate issues that may delay billing or service activation.
• Validate customer information such as name, address, and other essential details.
• Manage credit card autopay customers during onboarding, ensuring correct setup and settlement processes are in place.

Billing Coordination

• Work closely with the Billing team to ensure accurate invoice generation based on contract terms.
• Flag and resolve discrepancies between contract data and billing system entries.
• Process and validate special pricing requests, changes, and related computations.
• Support month-end and quarter-end billing activities to meet Finance deadlines.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Competencies

• 2 to 3 years of experience in contract administration, sales operations, or finance support roles (SaaS or technology industry preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal and financial documents.
• Good understanding of contract terms, billing processes, and basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in using CRM and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
• High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong organisational skills to handle multiple deals at various stages.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Working knowledge of Contract Management Systems like Docusign, Icertis, Zoho Contracts or similar tools will be an added advantage
