We are seeking a Facility Manager to serve as a technical resource and leader within the Indonesia data center. This position ensures availability and reliability that meets or exceeds defined service levels while maintaining high performance at the most effective cost.
This role reports to the Indonesia Data Center Engineering Operations Cluster Manager and serves as Amazon's front line for managing and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical system. They will maintain, operate, and troubleshoot, with the assistance of the site engineering operations team. The mission-critical data center facility equipment including electrical support equipment such as stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, 3 phase electrical systems that include but not limited to switchgear, UPS units, PDUs, and wet cell batteries and associated systems. Mechanical equipment includes CRAC units, centrifugal chillers, cooling towers/water chemical system, air handlers and associated systems, pumps, and motors. Additional support equipment is included in the scope of the role which includes fire suppression systems, building automation systems, and general facilities equipment.
This position is directly responsible for the hiring and development of the site engineering operations team. The facility manager will coordinate the training of the site engineering operations technicians in line with Amazons Infrastructure global training program to ensure they are proficient in all aspects of the site engineering operations including, but not limited to equipment operation and maintenance, incident management and escalation, safety, scorecard, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and document creation.

Key job responsibilities
1. Responsible and accountable for the operation and management of the data center's routine and emergency services across a variety of critical systems, including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems, and other data center support infrastructure.
2. Work with the Chief Engineer (CE) to conduct analyses, develop and lead improvement initiatives, and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility operations and maintenance.
3. Lead and manage on-site shift technicians, senior shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with established practices and procedures.
4. Manage relationships with Safety, Security, Construction Management, Field Engineering, and various other support organizations to ensure safe, secure, and reliable data center operations.
5. Manage relationships with third-party colocation providers and their facility staff.
6. Manage talent acquisition and people development for the DCEO organization.
7. Collaborate with business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize data center facility safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
8. Lead and manage budgeting and procurement for data center-related goods and services.
9. Responsible for data center asset and inventory management.

- 4+ years experience in a people manager position with multiple direct reports
- 5+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, Power plant, Oil and Gas, Mining, Airline, public safety facility, etc.)
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical /Mechanical engineering or other relevant fields
- Strong knowledge and experience in Electrical and Mechanical subjects
