Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Data Center physical security systems, including Access Control Systems, CCTV Surveillance Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and other related security technologies.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous operational readiness of security infrastructure.
- Support day-to-day coordination and supervision of outsourced security personnel to ensure adherence to established procedures and policies.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs and initiatives within the Data Center environment.
- Conduct regular security and safety checks to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure security incidents, safety issues, and abnormal conditions are properly documented, investigated, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Prepare reports, logs, and documentation related to physical security operations and HSE activities.
- Assist in emergency response activities, incident management, and business continuity procedures to maintain uptime and service reliability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Security Management/Information Technology or related disciplines
- 2+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities security or a related physical security role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Basic understanding of physical security systems, including Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles and practices.
- Experience in incident reporting, documentation, and operational support activities.
- Willingness to support 24/7 operations and participate in on-call or emergency response activities when required.
