Responsibilities
As DC Facility Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing end-to-end Data Center facility operations, including maintenance management, operational governance, performance monitoring, compliance assurance, and customer coordination to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and full adherence to SLA and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities are:
- Establish and manage maintenance programs for all Data Center equipment.
- Oversee daily operational activities, including workload distribution, scheduling, audits, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Data Center Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP).
- Manage maintenance of physical security systems and equipment, ensuring full contractual compliance.
- Establish monitoring systems and procedures to track the performance and availability of data centre resources.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and other issues to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Maintain and update customer records, including authorized personnel and escalation matrices.
- Ensure compliance with customer SLAs and regulatory requirements, taking proactive measures to mitigate risks and maintain uptime.
- Work closely with Service Delivery to coordinate with customers on maintenance activities, audits, and operational matters.
- Work closely with Operations to ensure accurate SLA reporting, capacity and consumption tracking, PUE monitoring, incident reporting, audit documentation, and continuous improvement plans.
- Provide 24/7 availability for customer coordination and relationship management and on-site support during major maintenance activities and critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the operations, maintenance, project execution and/or service delivery field.
- Has a strong understanding and hands-on experience in power systems, HVAC systems, sustainability, BMS, and automation.
- Proficient in safety compliance, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
- Familiarity with project management practices and resource optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address operational challenges efficiently.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Familiarity with Tier III / Tier IV data center operational standards is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Data Center Manager (CDCM) or equivalent, are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous.
