Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of the company's databases.
- Manage database security policies and implement security features (e.g., Vault, TDE).
- Monitor database access and user activity to detect suspicious behavior.
- Develop and maintain database security strategies and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Collaborate with IT Security, SysAdmin, and Network Engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
- 35 years of experience as a DBA with a focus on Database Security.
- Hands-on experience with database security features and SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, QRadar).
- Strong understanding of data protection, access control, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle Database Security Certified Implementation Specialist
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) / Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
- ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
- CISSP or CISM
- Knowledge of Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, OCI) is a plus
