Job Description

Database Administrator

  • Manage database changes and re-designs
  • Analyze database issues and troubleshoot or configure the database accordingly
  • Drive automation of code
  • Monitor database performance to ensure high levels of security and speed

Qualifications

  • Expertise of fundamental database concepts, including relational databases, normalization, and indexing.
  • Proficient in basic SQL operations (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE).
  • Familiar with at least one popular RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows) for database management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
