Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Perform database installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and patching.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in collaboration with developers and support teams.
  • Support deployment of application releases by preparing and maintaining database environments.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database processes, standards, and configurations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server (backup/recovery, performance tuning).
  • Knowledge of database security, HA/DR, and query optimization.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Have DBA certification from SQL Server/Azure SQL is a plus.
  • Have programming experience is a plus.
