We're hiring for our Data team - but not for a role boxed into one narrow lane. At ParagonCorp, we're building a team of well-rounded data specialists: people who can work across the full spectrum of data work, from building and maintaining the pipelines that move and shape our data, to turning that data into insights, reporting, and analysis that drive real business decisions.
You'll start by working from where your strengths are today, and we'll deliberately grow you from there. Over time, the goal is for you to be comfortable moving across different parts of the data stack, not stuck doing one thing forever.
Job Description:
- Work on data pipelines, data modeling, and the infrastructure that keeps our data reliable and accessible
- Turn data into dashboards, reports, and insights that support business, product, and customer decisions
- Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that actually get used
- Help maintain data quality, documentation, and best practices as our data ecosystem grows
- Take on new types of data problems as they come up, and grow your skill set along with the team's needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a data-related role
- Strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Python
- A track record of picking up new tools and skills quickly - you don't need to already know everything, but you should be someone who figures things out
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Most importantly: a genuine interest in becoming well-rounded across the data field, rather than staying a specialist in just one corner of it
