Description

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a focus on Machine Learning to develop models that power risk assessment, fraud detection, and behavioral analytics. You will build systems that analyze borrower profiles, detect identity inconsistencies, and flag suspicious patterns to support data-driven credit decisions.

You will also play a key role in establishing the company's data science foundation, defining best practices, building reusable pipelines, and setting up infrastructure that future team members will build upon.

You will work closely with engineering and business teams to turn data into scalable machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities

- Build and improve machine learning models for credit scoring, risk analysis, and fraud detection

- Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering on large datasets

- Analyze borrower and transaction data to identify suspicious patterns and behavioral anomalies

- Conduct model evaluation, validation, and performance monitoring

- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production

- Establish data science workflows, documentation standards, and model versioning practices

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year applied ML experience with end-to-end project delivery

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or similar)

- Experience with anomaly detection, classification models, and entity resolution

- Familiarity with API deployment (FastAPI/Flask), Docker, and cloud platforms

- Background in fintech, credit scoring, or fraud detection preferred

- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia
