Job Description

Adecco Indonesia is assisting our client, a leading player in the payments and financial services consulting analytics industry, in hiring for this role. This position focuses on leveraging data science and advanced analytics to drive business insights and deliver value to clients.

Specific Responsibilities include:

· Discuss with clients to confirm KPI definitions, event taxonomy, segmentation logic, and data quality expectations; document definitions and assumptions clearly

· Coordinate data requests, ingestion specifications, secure transfer requirements, and validation steps; troubleshoot gaps and inconsistencies with client data owners

· Analyze data using statistical software (e.g., Python, R)

· Extract and aggregate data from large datasets using SQL, Hive, Spark, and other tools

· Deploy and support predictive modeling packages, and monitor and calibrate production models

· Solve complex business problems using innovative data science techniques

· Collaborate with data science colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights to clients

· Automate workflows and develop repeatable analyses or self-service tools

· Ensure timely project delivery in line with business needs

· Promote data innovation and analytics adoption within the organization

· Optimize code for critical business processes

· Design and develop dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI

· Communicate complex analytical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is a hybrid position, where employees alternate between remote and office work. Employees are expected to work from the office three fixed days per week (Tuesday–Thursday), with a general expectation of being onsite at least 50% of the time, depending on business needs.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a motivated and analytical individual with a strong track record of applying data science and analytics to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate should have diverse industry exposure, strong curiosity about the payments ecosystem, and a results-driven, client-centric mindset.

· Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)

· 6+ years of professional experience, preferably in banking, payments, fintech, or related industries

· Hands-on experience with data analytics/programming tools such as Python and R, and advanced SQL skills

· Experience working with Big Data ecosystems such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, GCP, AWS, or Azure (both on-prem and cloud environments are a plus)

· Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau

· Strong foundation in statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, decision trees, random forests, clustering, neural networks, etc.)

· Proven ability to manage multiple analytics projects and work with cross-functional stakeholders

· Strong stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and adaptable working style

· Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills (including Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)
