Role Overview:
Join one of our clients, Global Leader in Payments and Financial Technology. As a Data Science Analyst within our Intelligence & Data Solutions team, you will leverage one of the largest and most complex global transaction datasets in existence. Your mission is to solve high-stakes strategic problems, deploy advanced predictive models, and unlock massive business value for top-tier banking and financial institution clients across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, aggregate, and analyze large-scale, high-velocity financial transaction datasets using Python, R, SQL, Hive, and Spark
- Deploy, support, and calibrate advanced predictive modeling packages, applying innovative data science techniques to optimize production models
- Collaborate with internal consultants and regional cross-functional teams to translate complex data insights into high-impact strategies and stories for external corporate stakeholders
- Design and develop interactive, executive-ready dashboards using Tableau or Power BI, while automating repeatable analyses and self-service analytic tools
- Actively manage and deliver multiple concurrent analytics projects, ensuring high data integrity and optimization for critical business processes
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent). A Master's degree or Ph.D. is highly advantageous
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science or Advanced Analytics, preferably within the banking, payments, fintech, or management consulting sector
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python, R, and advanced SQL querying
- Solid experience working in Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) and Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Professional expertise in BI tools (Tableau or Power BI)
- Hands-on proficiency in advanced modeling techniques: Neural Networks, Gradient Boosting, Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Clustering, or Factor Analysis
- Excellent presentation and data storytelling skills (MS PowerPoint & Excel) with a proven ability to manage complex solutions involving diverse stakeholders
