About the Role:
Responsible for maintaining, correcting, and updating customer data within the Bank's systems to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity, conducts sample audits of customer onboarding processes completed through the auto-approval mechanism. This role performs customer data amendments based on customer requests submitted through Customer Service, internal system-related errors, and findings identified through internal reviews, while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute customer data updates, corrections, and maintenance activities based on approved requests and authorized instructions.
- Process customer data change requests received from Customer Service, operations teams, and other authorized internal stakeholders.
- Perform data corrections arising from system errors, processing failures, or data inconsistencies identified within the Bank's systems.
- Ensure all data maintenance activities are properly documented and supported by adequate audit trails.
- Conduct post-update validation to ensure customer data has been accurately amended in accordance with approved requests.
- Maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of customer information in accordance with the Bank's policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare periodic reports and maintain records relating to customer data maintenance activities.
- Support internal audits, external audits, regulatory examinations, and other reviews related to customer data management.
- Perform sample audits of customer onboarding activities processed through the auto-approval mechanism in accordance with established sampling methodologies.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline; preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in banking operations, customer operations, data management, or a related function is preferred.
- Understanding of banking operational processes and customer data management.
- Knowledge of data confidentiality requirements and internal control principles.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and systematically.
- Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Data analysis and data validation.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Ability to manage, review, and reconcile large volumes of data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Knowledge of KYC (Know Your Customer), Customer Information File (CIF), and customer data administration processes.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Effective time management and ability to meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Familiarity with core banking systems and banking operational applications.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential customer information.
