Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and help develop reliable, efficient, and high-performing data infrastructure.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or Java/Scala for data processing.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Experience working with cloud data warehouse platforms such as Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or dbt.
• Experience or understanding of big data frameworks such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Flink is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple ad-hoc projects effectively.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust and efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or dbt.
• Optimize data structures within Data Warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift), perform query optimization, and ensure data schemas are ready for Data Analyst and Data Scientist teams.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to integrate new data sources and support business teams with ad-hoc operational data requests.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to data architecture, data dictionaries, and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot pipeline failures, perform bug fixing, and ensure data quality and integrity through ingestion validation.
