About the Role
We're looking for a Data Engineer Intern to help our data team with daily data operations and pipelines. This role is suitable for fresh graduates or final-year students (no ongoing classes) who want hands-on experience in real production data systems. Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain data pipelines
- Support data validation and data quality checks
- Assist in data preparation for analytics and reporting
- Work closely with senior data engineers
Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or last semester (no classes attended)
- Available for full-time internship
- Willing to learn and able to work with guidance
Required Skills
- SQL
- Basic to intermediate queries (JOIN, CTE, aggregation)
- Python
- Data extraction and transformation
- Familiar with pandas
- Relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- Basic understanding of ETL / ELT
- Git and basic command line (Linux)
Preferred Skills
- Apache Airflow or similar scheduler
- dbt / Spark
- Docker
- Cloud (GCP / AWS)
- Basic BI tools (Looker, Metabase, Power BI)
- Kafka or streaming concept (optional)
