Data Engineer - Data Integration

Key Responsibilities:

Data Integration & Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration workflows across multiple systems.
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
• Manage the movement, quality, and accessibility of data across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.

Cloud Infrastructure Operations

• Manage and monitor cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or both.
• Deploy, configure, and optimize cloud-based services used for data processing and storage.
• Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to automate deployment and resource management.

Automation & Scripting

• Develop scripts and automation routines using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
• Improve operational efficiency through automation of repetitive tasks and system processes.

Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting

• Use monitoring and log aggregation tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Troubleshoot complex technical problems impacting data pipelines, cloud resources, or integration workflows.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to address system-related incidents.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain security controls aligned with cloud security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with data protection, access control, and governance standards.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that support business needs.
• Participate in team knowledge-sharing, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture.
