Job Description
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor data center facilities, systems, and equipment during assigned shifts.
2.Perform routine inspections of data center areas, racks, cabling, power systems, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure.
3.Monitor alarms, alerts, and system conditions and respond promptly to any abnormalities or incidents.
4.Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant teams or vendors for issue resolution.
5.Support installation, relocation, and decommissioning of IT equipment, including rack installation and cable management.
6.Perform cable installation, cable routing, labeling, and cable management between racks as required.
7.Maintain accurate records of equipment status, incidents, maintenance activities, and shift handovers.
8.Perform regular shift handovers and ensure all outstanding issues are properly communicated to the next shift.
9.Support emergency response and escalation procedures for critical incidents.
10.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve data center operational efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in computer related or electrical related fields, with at least 2 years of work experience in the same industry;
2. Familiar with the basic architecture of X86 servers, with experience in hardware testing and maintenance in the fields of servers and storage;
3. Familiar with network devices such as switches and familiar with commonly used network protocols;
4. Familiar with computer room power supply and distribution management system, computer room UPS uninterruptible power supply system, computer room independent grounding system, computer room dedicated precision air conditioning system, computer room structured comprehensive cabling system, computer room dedicated gas fire protection system, computer room security monitoring system, computer room electronic access control system, computer room power equipment environment centralized monitoring system, etc;
5. Experience in data center construction, power, fire protection, air conditioning, civil engineering and other engineering construction is preferred;
6. Experience in data center construction, and relevant work experience in planning and operating large IDC data centers are preferred;
7. Proficient in using CAD drawing software, familiar with commonly used office software such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc;
8. Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, able to handle work pressure, team spirit, able to adapt to a 24/7 shift for the position.
