Job Summary
Responsible for managing daily cybersecurity operations, including monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and incident handling to ensure the protection of systems, networks, applications, and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security incidents from multiple sources (SIEM, SOC tools, threat intelligence).
- Provide real-time or near real-time situational awareness and security reporting.
- Manage audit logging processes, including log collection, review, and retention across systems, applications, networks, and user activities.
- Perform security monitoring using tools such as IDS/IPS, EDR, and email/web security solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, analyze findings, and coordinate remediation with relevant teams.
- Detect, analyze, and respond to malware, viruses, and other malicious activities.
- Support incident response processes and contribute to continuous security improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations or SOC.
- Strong understanding of SOC workflows and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability management.
- Basic knowledge of networking and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, or equivalent) are a plus.
