Customs Manager

We're Hiring: Customs Manager Cengkareng, West Jakarta

We are looking for an experienced Customs Manager to lead and optimize our customs and operational activities. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and high customer satisfaction within our logistics and freight forwarding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and service quality.

Coordinate operational activities across internal and external teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Supervise daily operational processes and ensure all staff comply with SOPs and company policies.

Provide solutions for operational issues and irregularities, and report critical actions to the Senior Manager Operations.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Key Account, and Customer Service teams to align operations with customer expectations.

Develop work programs and execution plans to achieve unit targets.

Monitor team performance regularly using measurable reporting systems.

Recommend performance improvements and support management with data-driven insights.

Prepare and present regular and ad-hoc operational performance reports.

Participate in routine performance review meetings with the GM.

Conduct performance evaluations for team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Transportation or Logistics).

Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong skills in Operations Management, Customer Service, and Communication.

Background in Freight Forwarding & Logistics is mandatory.

Experienced in Freight Operations and Customer Service Management.

Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Strong understanding of Customs Regulations and Dangerous Goods Regulations.

Knowledge of ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 standards.

PPJK Certificate is a plus.

Willing to work on Saturdays.
