Customs Compliance Manager

Responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with customs and import/export regulations. This role involves overseeing all customs-related activities, maintaining documentation, and implementing strategies to optimize customs processes while minimizing costs and risks.

Job Description

• Provides documentation and data to support duty/tax reconciliation and duty drawback claim process, and compiles reports for internal and external audit purposes.
• Compliance review and monitoring to identify discrepancies and take immediate action before customs audit is assigned.
• Identify and resolve problems related to customs
• Coordinate with Finance, Exim and procurement team.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Customs and Excise, or related disciplines).
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and import/export laws.
• Min 5 years experience in Export Import, 1-2 Years of experience as Assistant Manager.
• Prior experience as a Customs Consultant, Customs Compliance Specialist, or in a consulting firm specializing in customs and international trade will be an advantage.
• Experience in customs audit assistance, customs facility applications (AEO, MITA, Bonded Zone), and interactions with Customs Authorities (Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai) is highly preferred
• Experience all the procedure of Export and Import.
• PPJK certified is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in oral and written English;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
