An exciting opportunity to join a well-established multinational FMCG organisation behind some of the world's most recognised consumer brands. We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Marketing professional to lead Modern Trade channel strategy across Key Accounts and Independent channels. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with strategic thinking and enjoys working closely with both Sales and Brand teams to drive sustainable growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Head of Customer Marketing, you will play a critical role in shaping customer and channel strategies that directly influence business growth and market share performance.

This is a highly visible role within the organisation, offering strong cross-functional exposure and long-term career progression opportunities across Trade Marketing, Sales, and Regional Brand Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead customer marketing initiatives across Modern Trade Key Accounts and Independent channels
  • Drive MAPP governance across the channel, including Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing, and Promotions
  • Develop strategic programs and investment plans to accelerate Modern Trade growth
  • Partner closely with Sales and Brand teams to execute impactful below-the-line activities
  • Analyse and track channel performance, program effectiveness, and shopper insights to optimise commercial outcomes
  • Deliver customer thought leadership and identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights
  • Support market share growth and overall sales performance within the Modern Trade channel

  • About You

    • 6–10 years of experience within FMCG Sales, Trade Marketing, or Customer Marketing
    • Strong exposure to Modern Trade channels, including Key Accounts and Independent Trade
    • Proven track record driving channel growth and executing successful trade strategies
    • Strong understanding of merchandising, promotions, assortment planning, and pricing strategy
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Brand, and Commercial teams
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
    • Highly driven, disciplined, and commercially minded with strong relationship-building capability
    • Professional English communication skills
    • Prior experience within a multinational FMCG environment (MNC) would be highly advantageous
