Job Description

To drive profitable business growth by translating the regional marketing strategy into effective local execution.

Working closely with distributors and commercial teams, the Customer Marketing Manager leverages insights into retail channels, customers, shoppers, and go-to-market models to develop and execute activation plans that build brand awareness, strengthen brand visibility, increase sell- out, and enhance overall business performance.

Your Responsibilities:

Sell-Out Plans

  • Lead the development and execution of sell-out plans for each customer and channel ensuring return on advertising spend
  • Lead and improve Brand Advisor program in Indonesia

In-store Visibility

  • Develop and implement brand visibility plans tailored for each customer and channel while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with brand guidelines
  • Coordinate creation and deployment of tailored POSM based on regional brand key visuals

Brand Building & Development

  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that increase brand awareness and promote trial and loyalty in both online and offline touchpoints
  • Lead social marketing management in Indonesia and Export markets
  • Coordinate brand events and activations
  • Design strategies to generate innovative shopper experience

NPD deployment

  • Manage NPD rollouts from Go-To-Market to Post-Launch Evaluation in each market once development has been completed by CD&D and Brand Marketing, including but not limited to:
  • Recommend product assortment and RSP for each market and channel
  • Trigger product registration process for each market
  • Manage product sample sourcing for customers and consumers
  • Coordinate product training and sales briefing for internal teams and distributors sales team
  • Develop and execute product launch for each market

Trade Insights

  • Identify growth opportunities through analysis of customer feedback, market trends, competitive activity, channel dynamics, and shopper behavior

Marketing Execution specific for Export Model

  • Accountable for the effective delivery of all marketing activities mentioned above which are executed by the distributors in markets under export model

Your Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management or Customer Marketing in fast-moving consumer goods with exposure to export model is a must.
  • Experience in food, beverage or perishable goods is preferred and in pet food is a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa is an advantage to support communication with regional stakeholders and overseas partners.
  • Strong sense of ownership, proactiveness and urgency
  • Highly self-motivated to work under minimum supervision and tight deadlines
  • Experience with negotiations with distributors and agencies
  • High commercial acumen
