What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated content for cultural accuracy, sensitivity, and appropriateness
- Identify material that is offensive, outdated, tone-deaf, or simply wrong for your region
- Provide regional context and suggest culturally relevant alternatives
- Evaluate whether translations and localizations feel natural to a native audience
- Assess content across formats including text, image descriptions, and recommendations
- Submit structured, clear feedback using provided evaluation tools
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Deep, firsthand familiarity with the culture, customs, and social norms of your region
- Able to spot cultural missteps that outsiders would easily miss
- Strong written communication skills — you can articulate why something feels wrong
- Open-minded, thoughtful, and fair in your evaluations
- Detail-oriented and consistent across tasks
- No academic background in cultural studies required — lived experience counts
Nice to Have
- Experience in translation, localization, journalism, or content moderation
- Fluency in a language other than English relevant to your region
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows
- Knowledge of regional sub-cultures, generational differences, or diaspora communities
