Design and implement comprehensive audit plans for credit areas and related operational units in line with the Internal Audit Framework.
Lead the audit team in planning, execution, and completion of audits to ensure assurance and consulting activities are performed adequately and in compliance with applicable standards, policies, and regulations.
Escalate significant issues to management for timely corrective actions and provide consultation support.
Maintain effective working relationships with audit teams and auditees (executives, operational management, etc.), support continuous improvement of audit methodologies to drive more efficient and effective audit approaches, and contribute to staff capability development.
Execute audit procedures and activities in accordance with the code of ethics, approved audit manuals, and standard audit programs to ensure that technology risks within business units and operations are properly managed and mitigated, and that controls are implemented in line with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
For Credit Audit, this includes but is not limited to: areas related to credit analysis, credit operations, credit risk management, provisioning, and both conventional and Sharia credit products
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
Minimum 10 years of banking experience with strong exposure to credit audit or risk review.
Strong knowledge of audit techniques, internal controls, risk management, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Excellent analytical skills, communication, project management abilities and fluency in English (spoken and written).
Proven leadership and team management skills, and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
