Credit Analyst

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Credit Analyst role based in Batam. The Credit Analyst will evaluate credit applications from individuals and businesses by analyzing financial statements, collateral, and repayment capacity. The role includes conducting credit risk assessments, preparing credit proposals, and providing recommendations to support lending decisions in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The Credit Analyst will monitor existing credit portfolios, identify early warning signals, and support collection efforts where necessary. The role also involves collaborating with relationship officers and other internal teams, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of credit processes.

Qualifications

• Strong credit management skills, including experience in assessing creditworthiness and managing credit portfolios.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, evaluate risks, and make sound recommendations.
• Effective communication skills for explaining credit decisions, collaborating with internal teams, and interacting with customers.
• Solid understanding of finance, banking products, and credit principles relevant to retail and SME lending.
• Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Batam, manage multiple cases, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in banking, microfinance, or credit analysis is an advantage.
