Responsibilities

We are hiring a Creative Copywriter (Performance Ads) to write clear, scroll-stopping, conversion-focused copy for ecommerce ad creatives. This role is responsible for turning creative angles and briefs into strong hooks, persuasive ad scripts, concise body copy, and compelling CTAs across multiple ad formats. The ideal candidate understands that ad copy is not only about sounding clever; it must capture attention quickly, communicate a product's value clearly, reduce objections, and guide the viewer toward action. You will work closely with the Creative Strategist, designers, editors, and production team to transform approved ad angles into copy that is platform-native, brand-aligned, and built for testing.

This role is especially suited to candidates who enjoy writing for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, ecommerce products, UGC scripts, AI UGC concepts, animated ads, and static creative. Strong candidates are concise writers, fast revisers, and thoughtful collaborators who can adapt their tone to different brands and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write video ad scripts that include the hook, body, product message, proof points objection handling, and CTA for UGC, AI UGC, animated, and other performance-ad formats.
  • Write static ad copy, including headlines, sub-headlines, captions, text overlays, CTA lines, and short copy variations aligned to approved brief angles.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Strategist on messaging frameworks, audience insights customer pain points, emotional triggers, objections, offers, and ad-angle development.
  • Adapt copy for different platform tones, especially Meta, TikTok, and YouTube, while maintaining brand voice and conversion clarity.
  • Review copy for scroll-stopping strength, message clarity, brand fit, direct-response principles, and production readiness before handoff.
  • Generate multiple hook, script, headline, and CTA variations for creative testing.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate ideation, variation writing, research summarization, and first-draft development while maintaining human quality control.
  • Maintain a growing library of hooks, CTAs, proof points, objection-handling lines, winning scripts, and recurring angles across client niches.
  • Revise quickly based on feedback from strategists, creative leads, clients, designers, editors, or performance results.

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • Minimum S1 / Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing Communication, Advertising, Journalism, English / Literature, Public Relations, Visual Communication, Design / DKV, Business / Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university.
  • Experience writing copy for digital ads, ecommerce brands, social media campaigns, UGC videos, short-form video, landing pages, content marketing, or comparable marketing formats.
  • Strong understanding of hooks, CTAs, audience pain points, value propositions, tone of voice, offer framing, and fast-scrolling digital platforms.
  • Ability to write clear, natural, conversion-focused copy in English and/or Bahasa Indonesia, depending on campaign requirements.
  • Ability to generate multiple copy variations, revise quickly based on feedback, and explain why a specific hook, message, or CTA may work for a certain audience.
  • Portfolio or writing samples showing ad scripts, campaign copy, social ads, ecommerce copy, landing page copy, or high-performing short-form content.
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative strategists, designers, editors, and production teammates.
  • Graduated from a strong communication, marketing communication, advertising,
  • Experience with ecommerce advertising, DTC brands, performance marketing agencies, paid social creative, TikTok-style scripting, Meta ads, YouTube ads, direct-response copywriting, or UGC production.
  • Familiarity with AI UGC workflows, creator scripts, storyboard copy, creative testing processes, and performance-copywriting frameworks.
  • Ability to write both short punchy ad copy and slightly longer explanatory copy when the product requires education or objection handling.
  • Strong taste for platform-native language, creator-style dialogue, emotional hooks, and conversion-focused CTAs.
  • Experience maintaining swipe files, hook libraries, copy libraries, or performance-learning documents.
  • Must be available to work full-time in-office in Jakarta.
  • Willing to work from 12pm - 9pm WIB
