About the Role

The Country Sales Manager is responsible for overall leadership, business growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the clients in Indonesia across all business units, including Sales, Technical Consulting, Training, and Services. This role combines strategic leadership, customer engagement, revenue growth, and technical oversight to strengthen the company's position as a leading Ansys Elite Channel Partner in Indonesia.

Responsibilities

  • Country Sales Leadership & Business Ownership
  • Own full responsibility for the company's Indonesia Branch with accurate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual revenue goals.
  • Develop & maintain relationship with Key accounts and generate significant business on annually basis from the customer.
  • Define and execute the country business strategy aligned with regional and global objective.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, Ansys, and academia.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for key accounts and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in Indonesia at industry forums, conferences, and customer engagements.
  • Sales & Business Development
  • Lead all sales activities across software, services, training, and subscriptions.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for target industries.
  • Drive new customer acquisition, key account growth, and partner ecosystem expansion.
  • Ensure achievement of sales targets, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting.
  • Key business metrics:
  • Development of US$ 200k+ deals minimum 3 per year
  • Achieve minimum of 25 New logos / customer annually
  • Develop a strong pipeline of 3x
  • Scale the business to US$ 5M by 2028.

  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing sales, technical, and support teams.
  • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, inclusion, and accountability.
  • Drive talent acquisition, capability development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Ensure alignment with the company's values, ethics, and compliance standards.
  • Governance, Compliance & Operations
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, HR policies, finance, and corporate governance.
  • Implement the company's global processes, quality standards, and reporting systems.
  • Manage risk, contracts, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with regional and global teams.
  • Qualifications

    • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related)
    • MBA or Postgraduate qualification in Management / Business preferred
    • Experience
    • 12+ years of experience in engineering solutions, CAE, software, or technical consulting
    • 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Sales Manager, Business Head, GM, or equivalent)
