Country Sales Leader

The Role

The Country Manager for Indonesia, based in Jakarta, will lead market growth and strengthen the clients presence in one of Southeast Asias fastest-growing economies. Working closely with the appointed distributor, this role is responsible for expanding market share, building strong customer relationships, and introducing innovative solutions to Indonesian businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand market presence by introducing the full portfolio, including OEM products.
• Acquire new customers and manage relationships with key accounts.
• Define and implement business plans, sales targets, and marketing strategies.
• Act as primary liaison with the distributor, aligning local and global priorities.
• Lead sales efforts, support tenders, and develop tailored solutions.
• Monitor economic trends, analyse market potential, and report insights.
• Represent the brand in Indonesia with key customers and industry networks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong track record in business growth within heavy industrial machinery, construction equipment or industrial automotive.
• Entrepreneurial, strategic, and commercially driven.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Analytical problem-solver with structured approach.
• Effective collaborator with ability to balance stakeholder expectations.
• Proficient in MS Office; proven leadership qualities to deliver results.
