Cost Reduction Staff

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Cost Reduction, Purchasing, Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related field, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong ability to analyze market data, supplier pricing, cost structures, and identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, alternative sourcing, price benchmarking, and negotiation to achieve cost savings.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with good proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good understanding and hands-on experience in QC parts/product quality requirements; proficiency in English and/or Japanese is an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Conduct market research and price benchmarking to identify cost trends, new suppliers, alternative materials/products, and potential cost reduction opportunities.
• Analyze supplier pricing, material costs, quality, and delivery performance to support cost reduction and sourcing decisions.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiation, alternative sourcing, material substitution, and process improvement.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, technical capability, and overall competitiveness.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and supplier agreements to achieve targeted cost savings while maintaining required quality and delivery standards.
• Monitor and report cost reduction achievements and savings, and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, Engineering, and related departments to ensure the implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
